SIG Conference 2024

Jan 23, 2024

On January 18th, we held our annual company conference in the Hodson Bay Hotel in Co. Westmeath, which was attended by 90 of our colleagues from our 4 businesses from across the island. We were also delighted to be joined by our Group CEO, Gavin Slark, and our Group CPO, Julie Armstrong, who made the trip across to see us from England.

The event was opened by our Managing Director, Kevin Windle, and included a range of speakers from our main building products distribution business, SIG, plus our 3 other contracting businesses, HHI, SIG Workplace and JS McCarthy. We reflected on our performance in 2023, a year of challenging market conditions and reduced revenue, before outlining our plans for an improved performance in 2024. We also took time to celebrate the success of some individual business performances in 2023 and the great progress that was made in areas such as customer service, e-commerce, product range development and sustainability.

We finished off the day with some food and drink and an opportunity to catch up with colleagues.

Thanks to everyone who attended and we look forward to delivering a strong performance for all our stakeholders in 2024.
